They beat NG Bailey 7-1 to lift the Cup while Macbeth All Stars beat Notinher Forest 6-5 in a close encounter to win the Plate competition.

The competition, played out at Goals Soccer Centre in Woodley, attracted 12 teams made up mostly of teams from local companies and businesses around Reading.

Association chairman Richard Wickson said, "It proved a great competition and one that I think will grow and improve next season. We are a non-profit making, charitable organisation and very much rely on the support of local businesses and I would like to thank Field, Seymour Parks Solicitors, Vale & West, Macbeth and Handelsbanken for their kind sponsorship of the event"

As if to prove their dominance of the competition, Huntswood beat a former Reading FC team 3-1 in a post competition exhibition match.

All monies raised will go to Reading-based charity Launchpad.

Patron of both the Association and Launchpad, Sir John Madejski was on hand to present Huntswood and Macbeth All Stars with their trophies and medals.
