The Association is saddened to hear of the passing of former Reading FC player Thomas Docherty.

Docherty joined Reading in the summer of 1953, from Norwich City, and went on to make 54 appearances and scoring twice while at Elm Park. Docherty played on the left wing in a career that also included spells at Lincoln City and Newport County.

The Association would like to pass on their sympathy to Tom’s family.
